Job Description
The Fire System Inspector's daily responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections of fire sprinkler and alarm systems to ensure they meet safety standards and codes. They test and verify the functionality of these systems, identifying any issues or malfunctions that need repair. Inspectors document their findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate necessary corrective actions to building owners or managers. Additionally, they stay updated on relevant codes and regulations, ensuring all inspections are compliant with local, state, and federal requirements. Regular interaction with clients and maintenance personnel is also a key part of the role.
