Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to join a client in La Vergne, TN. This individual will be responsible for the support and integration of the company’s EHS processes and systems. This person will assist plant operations in identifying, correcting, and implementing EHS strategies to reduce risks to people, property, and the environment. The EHS Coordinator will also assist in the development and implementation of EHS strategies to meet the needs of the Safety Management System (SMS). This individual can expect to split their time between plants in La Vergne, TN and Trinity, AL, with quarterly travel to Grand Rapids, MI and Cincinatti, OH.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
-Prior experience developing and delivering HSE related trainings to different groups and levels within their organization
-Ability to travel between four plants in TN, AL, OH, and MI
-Must have flexibility to respond to incidents outside of typical work hours

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Health, Safety, Environmental or related area.
-Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer General Industry and/or Construction
-Certifications in any of the following:
1. Forklift
2. Crane
3. Aerial/Scissor Lift
4. Confined Space
5. Fall Protection Systems
-ISO 14001, 9001 & 45001
-Industrial Hygiene
-Electrical Safety with NFPA 70E Arc Flash & LOTO
-Background in metal processing industry
