Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Pre-litigation Paralegal to support a personal injury and disability firm in Knoxville, TN. This individual will manage cases from initial intake through settlement, serving as a key point of contact for clients while ensuring files move efficiently and accurately ensuring files move efficiently and accurately through the pre‑litigation process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where client service and case progression are critical.

This is a full‑time, in‑office position (Monday–Friday) in the Knoxville office.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Manage a high‑volume caseload of personal injury matters during the pre‑litigation phase
- Conduct detailed client intakes and maintain consistent, professional communication throughout the lifecycle of the case
- Request, review, and organize medical records, medical bills, insurance documents, and related case materials
- Draft demand letters, case summaries, and routine correspondence
- Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and third‑party vendors
- Track medical treatment, liens, and critical case deadlines
- Prepare and submit demand packages for settlement review and negotiation
- Assist attorneys with case evaluation, issue identification, and negotiation preparation
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case notes and documentation within the firm’s case management system
- Deliver exceptional client service with empathy, professionalism, and urgency

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience in legal support, case management, or related
- Hands-on experience working with medical records, vendors, workers' compensation, and related case materials
- Familiarity with legal terminology or personal injury "lingo"
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to speak with clients and third parties
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Experience with case management software (e.g., Litify) or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
- Experience managing high‑volume PI caseloads
- Familiarity with modern case management system
