Job Description
We’re looking for a Network Support Specialist to support two medical centers in Knoxville, TN. This person would manage/support the connectivity of medical devices and ensure secure, reliable data capture across our healthcare systems. This role is key to keeping patient data flowing safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain network connections for medical devices.
• Ensure accurate and secure data transfer to electronic health records (EHR).
• Monitor device performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Protect devices and data from cyber threats.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and device vendors.
• Document network setups and updates clearly.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2-5 years of experience with network setup and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and medical devices
• Knowledge of data security and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to assist/troubleshoot PCs
• Self-sufficient personality
• A personal vehicle for reliable transportation two & from the two locations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Certifications like CCNA or Network+
