Job Description

The GenAI Software Engineer plays a key role in high-visibility projects, delivering solutions that drive business value. Leveraging Contractors expertise in multiple programming languages and modern frameworks to deliver high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player and mentor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Outcome-Driven Accountability:

Technical Advocacy:
Serve as the technical advocate for products, ensuring code integrity and alignment with goals.
Lead requirement analysis, architecture design, development, testing, integration, and support.

Engineering Craftsmanship:
Maintain accountability for code design, implementation, quality, and maintenance.
Stay hands-on and continuously learn new approaches, languages, and frameworks.
Write high-quality, scalable code and review peers' work, mentoring to meet quality KPIs.

Customer-Centric Engineering:
Develop lean solutions through rapid experimentation to meet customer needs.
Engage with customers and product teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Incremental and Iterative Delivery:
Favor action and evidence over extensive planning.
Deliver lean, supportable, and maintainable solutions amidst complexity and uncertainty.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration:
Collaborate with product management, experience, and delivery teams.
Integrate diverse perspectives for well-informed, balanced decisions.

Advanced Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrate expertise in Agile methodologies and DevSecOps for daily product deployments.
Optimize solutions and product delivery through continuous improvement.

Domain Expertise:
Quickly acquire relevant domain-specific knowledge.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and code.

Effective Communication and Influence:
Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly.
Inspire and influence teams through well-structured arguments and evidence.

Engagement and Collaborative Co-Creation:
Engage with product engineering teams and customers.
Foster a culture of co-creation and shared momentum towards product goals.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience with AI/ML and GenAI
5+ years of experience with a variety of languages including Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang, SQL/noSQL
Strong foundation in software engineering and OOP/OOD
5+ years of cloud native engineering experience with a microservices/FaaS/PaaS on a public cloud platform
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
