Remote Software Engineer (GCP)

A client in the Nashville, TN area is seeking a Software Engineer focusing in GCP. This individual will need to possess in-depth knowledge of GCP as the team is currently managing over 200 integrations so this individual will need to possess strong GCP composer and GCP workflow experience to help tackle this, especially as they begin progressing from medium to high complexities. Collaborating with PwC, the team includes both offshore developers and select onshore personnel, with a primary focus on GCP and some Oracle components as they migrate into Oracle. PwC is responsible for data structuring, while this team is actively advancing medium-high technical integration level tasks, prioritizing work dynamically rather than waiting on documentation. This person will help take specific tasks from PWC to help make the delivery process move faster. Jira is used for task assessment and assignment, ensuring structured progress and accountability. They hope to have this work done by January before they move to UAT testing in February. They will also help modify existing codebases in .Net/C#

- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Strong GCP (Google Cloud Platform) experience
- Strong GCP workflow or GCP composer.
- GCP airflow, dataflow, pub/sub
- 3+ years of BigQuery
- API Management tools (TYK preferred)
- Python- 3-5 years of strong scripting
- Microservices and Gitlab CI/CD
- Experience in both API and UI development using Microsoft .Net, Java, Java SpringBoot, NextJS, C#, Python, and SSIS packages

- Jira
- Front end development
