Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer Lead to join our team and play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our clients EMRs. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for hiring, managing 3-4 resources, and helping with developing, designing, and delivering comprehensive training materials and programs to ensure the effective adoption and utilization of the systems by our team.

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT specialists, and project managers, to identify training needs and objectives for EMR, WellSky.
2. Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led courses, job aids, and user manuals, tailored to various user roles and learning styles.
3. Utilize instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and best practices to create interactive and learner-centric training experiences.
4. Work closely with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
5. Implement a structured training program, including scheduling, delivery, and evaluation, to support staff in acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to use the EMR system proficiently.
6. Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users during the EMR/system implementation process, addressing questions, concerns, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomes.
8. Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements related to EMR systems and instructional design practices.
9. Hire and Manage 3-4 content creators, providing daily direction

Required Skills & Experience

-Proven experience of 3-5 years in instructional design and/or training preferably in the healthcare or technology sector, with a focus on system implementations or software training. (ERPs, EMRs)
-Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
-Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training delivery methods (e.g., webinars, virtual classrooms)
-Experience in hiring, managing and providing daily direction for content creators

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and healthcare workflows is highly desirable.
