Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to support a growing cloud environment for a healthcare technology organization. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.
The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader for cloud operations, automation, and DevOps initiatives while helping drive the organization's multi-cloud strategy. This role will focus heavily on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, observability, cloud security, and platform reliability. The engineer will partner closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure applications are built and deployed following modern cloud and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related infrastructure roles
• Strong Azure expertise (App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, networking, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Key Vault)
• Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Strong Windows Server and IIS administration experience
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS)
• Experience supporting SQL Server environments and automating database deployments
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and security best practices
• Experience supporting cloud migrations, lift-and-shift initiatives, and production infrastructure
• Agile experience

Experience with AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild
Experience with CloudFormation or Bicep
Multi-cloud governance and deployment experience
Experience with serverless technologies (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)
Healthcare industry experience
HIPAA and SOC2 compliance experience
Experience with EDI transactions (837/835)
Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault
Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, etc.)
Experience mentoring engineers and leading DevOps best practices
