A client in the Franklin, TN area is looking for Data Analysts to join the team. They are undertaking a data access controls project as part of a security initiative to adopt a modern architecture. With their new data lake built, they need to identify who is accessing their old legacy system and understand their reasons. The goal is to transition users to their new data lake, "gold," and determine what data needs to be migrated.
They are looking for analysts who can dive into the data, reach out to users to understand who's accessing the old legacy system, what data they need, pulling that data, and conducting extensive exploratory work. This role will be client-facing, involving training and guiding users on how to access and retrieve data from the new system. Analysts will sift through metadata, perform queries, and identify data access patterns, then communicate with users to facilitate the transition.
