It may involve leading a group of technicians and making independent decisions on technical problems and methods. The role includes ensuring compliance with federal and state waste regulations for the NFS Transportation/Waste Management programs, handling the safe transportation of radioactive and hazardous waste nationwide, and managing waste characterization, packaging, storage, and disposition in line with RCRA, TSCA, NRC, and DOT standards.
