Job Description

A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a Senior Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executive leadership. This person will be responsible for driving alignment, execution, and operational excellence across the organization. The role bridges strategy and execution—ensuring priorities are clearly defined, initiatives are delivered, and leaders are equipped with the insights and structure needed to operate at scale.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with strong business acumen, exceptional judgment, and the ability to operate across ambiguity, complexity, and high stakes environments.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
• Partner closely with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive execution of enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment across functions, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Prepare executive level briefings, decision memos, and strategic recommendations for internal and external audiences.
• Monitor progress against goals, identify risks, and proactively course correct to maintain momentum.
Operational Excellence & Governance
• Establish and maintain operating rhythms (OKRs, QBRs, leadership reviews) to ensure visibility and accountability.
• Lead cross functional coordination for high priority initiatives, including transformation, modernization, and compliance efforts.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance processes by ensuring executive decisions align with regulatory, security, and organizational standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, clarity, and organizational effectiveness.
Stakeholder & Change Management
• Act as a central point of coordination between executives, functional leaders, and external partners.
• Facilitate alignment across diverse teams, resolving conflicts and driving consensus when priorities compete.
• Support organizational change initiatives by aligning communication, leadership messaging, and execution plans.
• Represent executive leadership in meetings, forums, or working groups as delegated.
Leadership Enablement
• Coach and advise senior leaders on decision making, prioritization, and organizational design.
• Enable high performing leadership teams by clarifying roles, expectations, and success metrics.
• Support talent development initiatives, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness programs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent experience in strategy, operations, consulting, program leadership, or executive advisory roles.
• Proven experience working directly with C suite or senior executive leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross functional initiatives in fast paced or regulated environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive presence skills.
• Experience translating strategy into execution with measurable outcomes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Background in enterprise transformation, digital modernization, or large scale change initiatives.
• Experience working for a large enterprise-level corporation
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
