Job Description

A Chattanooga based logistics firm is hiring a VP of Sales that will be focusing on fostering and expanding business within their dedicated carrier solutions unit. This individual will be responsible for aligning the regional sales organizations objectives with the firms business strategy through active participation in sales strategy development, forecasting, and budgeting. This will involve designing effective channels and resource deployment while meeting targets for sales volume, market share, and financial performance. Additionally, the job entails maintaining productive relationships with customers, and actively participating in resolving customer business problems.

Required Skills & Experience

- B.A. or equivalent in a related business, sales, marketing, logistics, or management
- Extensive expertise in transportation and supply chain solutions with 5+ Years of experience selling dedicated carrier solutions
- Leadership and Management skills
- Experience utilizing CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 50%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- 3+ Years in a Management Position
