Job Description
An employer is looking to hire a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to sit in Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, or Knoxville (offering relocation). Key responsibilities include job site assessments, boring, sitting behind drill rig, logging samples, and coordinating laboratory testing and fieldwork. The role involves supporting project planning, design recommendations, and quality assurance while adhering to safety standards. Staff Engineers work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, gaining project management experience and contributing to proposals and technical reports. Additional duties include client interaction, supervising field staff when needed, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Geological)
1-3 years of professional geotechnical experience (performing site assessments, logging samples, PM for on site work, etc.) OR Masters Degree in Geotechnical
EIT or EI preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master’s degree in engineering preferred
