This leadership role serves as the Chief Engineer for the Transportation Division, overseeing all transportation design and engineering functions. Key responsibilities include managing transportation studies and capital projects, supervising staff, developing budgets, and reviewing internal and contractor designs. The person also leads asset management for critical infrastructure such as bridges, pavement, sidewalks, and tunnels, and plays a key role in shaping Chattanoogas future through Smart City initiatives. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
Ten years related design engineering experience, including supervisory experience.
Valid Drivers License
Professional Engineer License required or obtain within six months of hire. Professional Engineer License must be issued in the State of Tennessee.
LEED-ND, Green Associate and/or CNU-A certifications preferred
