Job Description
A client in the Brentwood, TN area is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Vice President of Information Technology Operations. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the management and oversight of the team's overall technology infrastructure and operations environment. This scope includes partnering with the client's Managed Services Provider for contracted services and direct oversight of additional areas. Including data center and network operations, servers and system administration, storage, transactional databases and robotic process automation, telecommunications, service desk and end user services. In addition to ensuring the delivery of planned enhancements and upgrades, this role is accountable for infrastructure uptime, accuracy, reliability, and efficiency. Timeliness, outcome quality, accuracy and fiscal responsibility are paramount. This role closely partners with the Information Security and Applications teams in the fulfilment of responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience partnering with the Managed Service Providers and historical performance of ensuring the delivery of services
Previous management and leadership experience
Experienced in budget management
Has communicated risks and issues associated with project delivery to business executives for awareness, mitigation, and re-baselining, as appropriate.
Ability to partner effectively with other IT groups (e.g., Applications, Cyber Security) and business functions (e.g., Operations, Procurement) to deliver projects and ensure operational stability.
