Technical Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support the integration of VIP PetCare following its acquisition. This individual will provide technical delivery leadership across multiple strategic initiatives, serving as the primary liaison between development teams, solution architects, and project leadership to ensure successful execution and delivery.
This is not a Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will bring a strong application development background and hands-on technical expertise to help development teams navigate challenges, remove roadblocks, align architectural solutions, and drive delivery outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical delivery efforts supporting the VIP PetCare integration program.
• Partner closely with Project Managers to assess project status, identify risks, analyze delivery delays, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to evaluate technical solutions, resolve design challenges, and align development efforts.
• Act as a technical escalation point for development teams, helping remove roadblocks and drive progress.
• Oversee enterprise application and systems integration activities between VIP PetCare and Tractor Supply Company (TSC) environments.
• Support the migration of pharmacy-related services to Allivet.
• Drive delivery activities related to the multi-phase Pet Membership initiative.
• Assist in defining integration strategy and execution plans for upcoming integration workstreams.
• Coordinate efforts across internal engineering teams, architects, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Facilitate communication and documentation through Jira and other delivery management tools.
• Ensure successful integration of backend systems with customer-facing digital platforms, including eCommerce and mobile applications.

Current Program Landscape
The Delivery Manager will support several active initiatives, including:
• Completion of Transition Services Agreement (TSA) activities, with project wrap-up targeted for late August.
• Early-stage planning and scope definition for the Pet Membership program.
• Ongoing integration and migration efforts currently underway.
• Development of integration strategies for future workstreams that have not yet begun.
• Coordination with development teams that are actively being scaled and established.
Team Environment
• Existing development support provided by BitWorks, the technical partner responsible for building many VIP PetCare systems.
• Approximately 10 dedicated technical resources currently supporting the environment.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Digital, Enterprise Applications, Architecture, and Integration teams.
• Potential coordination with offshore resources and handoff processes.

• 8+ years of experience leading software delivery, application development, or technical program execution.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise application integrations.
• Hands-on technical background with eCommerce platforms and application development.
• Experience supporting cloud-based applications running in Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to work directly with software engineers to resolve technical delivery challenges.
• Experience utilizing Jira for project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
