Job Description

This position is responsible for advanced Accounts Payable (AP) functions including knowledge of the full cycle AP process, and ability to support all aspects as needed. Responsibilities also include the authority to make decisions regarding multiple job functions, resolution of vendor disputes, and support of internal and external customers.

Analyze and recover debit balances.
Research and resolve invoices, credit/debit memos, and vendor disputes to maximize cash discounts.
Support quarterly vendor payback reserve calculations and present weekly department metrics.
Train and audit entry-level AP staff.
Recommend and implement process improvements.
Review vendor statements to resolve outstanding items.
Monitor and recover lost cash discounts.
Reconcile import payments and maintain prepaid account accuracy.
Report scan-based sales and audit vendor billings.
Ensure accurate billing and approvals for prepaid vendors.
Assist with special projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years experience in a high volume AP department
High school diploma, associates degree preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience using SAP

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

MS Office Suite
