Job Description
In this role, you will serve as the primary client-facing Revenue Cycle SME, owning revenue cycle operations after go‑live. This team runs the billing office and provides Business Process Organization (BPO) Services for revenue cycle for clients, so the majority of responsibilities center on running and optimizing revenue cycle operations on behalf of clients. You will act as an extension of the client’s billing office, supporting full end‑to‑end RCM processes including patient access, coding and charging, claims submission, denials management, AR follow‑up, and overall operational performance.
You will lead ongoing client engagement, acting as the face of the organization and serving as the primary point of contact for multiple clients. This includes regularly meeting with stakeholders ranging from billing analysts to VPs of Revenue Cycle and CFOs to discuss KPIs, trends, reporting requests, denial drivers, AR performance, and cash flow improvement opportunities. Success in this role is driven by strong ownership, proactive communication, and consistent follow‑through on identified issues.
The role is highly analytical, with a significant focus on interpreting and validating existing reporting rather than building reports from scratch. You will use advanced Excel skills to investigate discrepancies, reconcile data, and identify root causes such as denial spikes, missing patient cohorts, or reporting gaps. You will translate these findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for clients, functioning as a key bridge between operations and IT.
This position operates in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and requires resilience, accountability, and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, motivated to grow their careers, and comfortable taking true ownership of client outcomes rather than simply executing assigned tasks.
