Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-level IT infrastructure across the organization. This individual will serve as a technical subject matter expert, providing tier 3 support, leading small-medium sized projects, and driving the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. The role will partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with organizational goals while contributing to long-term roadmapping and innovation initiatives.
Day-to-Day
Day-to-Day:
This individual will support multiple concurrent infrastructure projects, primarily filling gaps where needed across initiatives. A significant portion of their time will be dedicated to migration efforts, including VMware, Nutanix (hyperconverged), and JDE/Oracle.
They will provide tier 3 support, assist with system design and implementation, and partner with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and systems remain stable.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in a 5,000-15,000-user environment
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience, specifically group policy, provisioning, and Zero Trust (onboarding)
- Experience with Windows Group Policy, DNS, etc.
- Knowledge of IAAS, SAAS, PAAS, and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience with Nutanix
- Ability to provide tier 3 support and lead small technical projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Powershell Experience
- DevOps Experience
- MSCE or VCP certification
- Medium-scale Healthcare or Logistics industry experience
- Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments
- Background in developing IT policies, standards, and procedures
