Insight Global is hiring for a Portfolio Analyst for a top client in Des Moines. This role involves collaborating with the Portfolio team to assist with budget planning, financial tracking, work intake, governance review, and reporting on portfolio health and metrics. The candidate will work closely with our Portfolio leadership to identify, compile, and report key metrics; manage work intake and ensure business cases are completed; support prioritization and preparation of work for teams; and develop and monitor the budget. They will also be working closely with one other Portfolio Analyst on the team, and mainly focusing on Governance and intake process from both the business and internal team members. The right person for the role will be organized, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and also strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues and propose practical solutions.

Experience: 5+ years experience as portfolio analyst or similar
Governance Skills knowledge of work intake, business case buildout, prioritization, and evaluation of work before handed off to agile development teams
Financial Management Skills exposure to budget planning, business case development and financial tracking and reporting
Analytical and Reporting Skills ability to gather data from multiple sources, analyze, synthesize, and draft story identifying trends and actionable insights; may include tracking and reporting on key Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Technology Azure Devops, PowerBI, Excel
