Must be able to work a 3-week swing shift:
-Week 1 (48 hrs) - 8am-4pm Monday- Friday - weekend walks Saturday and Sunday (45min a day - paid 8 hours)
-Week 2 (60 hrs)- 8am-8pm Monday - Friday - Weekend Off
-Week 3 (60 hrs)- 8pm-8am Monday - Friday - Weekend Off
Paid overtime - time and a half
Day to Day:
Participate in plant safety process including safety meetings, safety subcommittee meetings and safety project teams.
Reactive Maintenance - Troubleshooting, calibrating, and servicing electrical and mechanical systems. Repair machine breakdowns.
Preventative Maintenance - Maintain work order system by completing work orders, updating equipment files, updating part files, and updating PM files.
Maintain documentation on various systems
Maintain spare parts inventory and documentation.
Assist in solving quality and production related problems.
Assist contractors in installing new equipment or upgrading existing equipment
Assist other engineering associates performing work as required to keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment in working order.
Train other shop associates as needed.
Participate in on or off-site training as required.
Troubleshoot and repair breakers, overloads, proximity sensors, micro-switches, mechanical switches, D.C. and A.C. motors and drives.

Hands on experience in troubleshooting industrial mechanical equipment.
Must have a Mechanical background, including understanding of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, combustion systems for oven burners, mechanical drive systems, etc. (70% Mechanical)
Must have enough of an electrical background to be trained into learning how to troubleshoot electrical systems.
