Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Nurse Manager to support day-to-day nursing operations within an acute autism and residential treatment environment. This role serves as a key liaison between nursing staff and nursing leadership, ensuring quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and smooth unit operations.
The Nurse Manager will oversee nursing staff, participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning, and support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for patients.
-Lead and oversee day‑to‑day nursing operations across assigned units
-Serve as liaison between nursing staff and nursing leadership
-Support staffing, scheduling, payroll corrections, and attendance oversight
-Participate in treatment team meetings and utilization review activities
-Conduct staff meetings, evaluations, coaching, and corrective counseling
-Oversee quality improvement efforts, chart audits, and medication variance review
-Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing development
-Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
-Act as Nurse Administrator in the absence of the Director of Nursing and participate in on‑call rotation

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
-Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in SC
-Minimum 2 years of experience working with autism populations
-Prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager level)
-Strong knowledge of psychiatric illness, behavior management, and psychotropic medications
