Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Designer for a leading custom automation and systems integration organization. This individual will play a key role in transforming customer concepts into fully realized automated manufacturing solutions. Working closely with sales, applications, and engineering teams, the Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating 3D SolidWorks designs, developing detailed drawings and bills of materials, and supporting projects ($500k-3 Million in value) from concept through final release. The ideal candidate comes from a systems integrator environment and has experience designing robotic assembly, testing, and custom equipment solutions. Required Skills & Experience
3-4+ years of experience working for a systems integrator, automation company or custom equipment builder
Strong SolidWorks design experience
Experience designing custom automation, assembly, or test equipment
