A Client of Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical/ Electrical Maintenance Technician! The facility is 300,000sq where they make non-woven automotive fabrics. This role is called a CET -Control Equipment Technician by the client! This person is responsible for performing general, preventive and reactive maintenance on the electrical and mechanical systems in the plant. The CET will report to the Engineering Service Leader. They will provide reactive maintenance to equipment breakdowns that happen, going through preventative maintenance on the machines in the plant, and being the respondent to all emergencies or incidents during their shift!

Hands on experience in troubleshooting industrial mechanical equipment.
Needs to be self-driven, they are the lead on their own shift, need to be able to manage themselves.
Knowledge of general safety procedures including proper PPE and 70E.
Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.
Must have a Mechanical background, including understanding of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, combustion systems for oven burners, mechanical drive systems, etc. (70% Mechanical)
Must have an Electrical background, including understanding of power distribution, relay logic, electrical print reading, AC/DC drive wiring and programming, AC/DC motors, control equipment (RTDs, flow meters, D/P cells, I/Ps, Load cells, valve positioners, compensators, potentiometers, relays, etc.) (30% Electrical)
Must be able to train on the 1st shift for 1-2 months (M-F 8-5) before taking over the 3rd shift role (F-M 7-7!)
