Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an I&C Engineer / Digital Projects Engineer to support a Large Utility Client with a position working at one of their Nuclear Stations on long-term capital modernization work within the Digital I&C Design Group. This team is focused on upgrading and replacing legacy analog and computer-based control systems, supporting digital design efforts, and helping transition critical plant systems to newer Windows-based and virtualized environments. The ideal candidate may come from a computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, OT, or controls background and should be eager to learn complex nuclear systems while working alongside experienced site SMEs. This person will support data migrations, system cutovers, process network/device virtualization, documentation, testing, and implementation activities tied to digital upgrades and operational technology modernization. While nuclear experience is a plus, the team is open to candidates with strong technical fundamentals, local ties, and a willingness to learn within a highly regulated power generation environment.
