Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a cable technician to work fully onsite in Ridgeville, SC.
Day-To-Day:
• Cable Installation: Pull and route cables throughout the facility, ensuring proper placement and secure connections.
• Rack and Stack: Assemble and install network racks, servers, and related hardware according to layout specifications.
• Splicing Work: Perform basic splicing tasks on copper and fiber cables, including cutting, stripping, and joining connections.
• Technical Labor Support: Assist with general construction-related technical tasks, such as equipment setup, material handling, and site preparation.
• Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines, including PPE requirements and metal detector checks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to meet daily production goals and maintain project timelines.
