Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Litigation Estimator for one of their construction clients local to Charleston, South Carolina for a 5x a week on-site role. In this role, this individual will support attorneys, engineers, and architects with cost and repair estimates used in litigation matters. This role blends estimating, site visits, and deposition support and requires someone comfortable working directly with litigators, something most estimators shy away from. While most projects do not go to trial, litigation exposure is critical in the event they are requested to appear. This individual will be handling active pricing for litigation cases as well as handling a range of projects from single-family residential work to high-rise condominiums. They will be working alongside a team of 6 individuals in an on-site model. No previous book of business is required as the company has a lot of work to be executed on from their vast cliental. A day in the life includes preparing cost & repair estimates for litigation reports as well as partnering with litigators, engineers & architects on cost analysis.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of claims or litigation estimating experience.
-Comfort with testifying or strong interest in participating.
-Strong communicator able to work directly with attorneys.
-ProEst experience (preferred software used by the team, On-Screen Takeoff also acceptable).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Certified Estimator.
-Senior level estimator capable of training/mentoring other estimators.
