Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Systems Administrator with Physical Security experience (video/access control) to provide technical support for physical security infrastructures and projects. This person will support several physical security projects and daily general Cooperate and Regulatory operational support of the different environments.
The ideal candidate will be capable of quickly integrating into an established team and independently supporting complex Windows environments, Avigilon Access Control systems (Unity Access 7), Avigilon Video management Systems, and a variation of switches and appliances while maintaining the standards required for critical infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administer, support and deploy Video and Access control equipment
- Evaluate, test, and deploy operating system and application patches.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory.
- Perform advanced technical troubleshooting across server, application, and infrastructure components.
- Support and troubleshoot the following enterprise security and infrastructure platforms:
- Symantec Endpoint Protection / Malware Prevention
- Veeam Backup & Replication and Backup Exec
- Tripwire Log Center
- Avigilon Unity Access
Avigilon Video Management Systems
- AMAG Symmetry Access Control Systems
- Develop, configure, and deploy Veeam Backup Solution and Truenas NAS solution
- Assist with system monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, procedures, and operational records.
- Work closely with internal technical staff, vendors, and project teams to support infrastructure.
On-Call Support
- This position is mission essential and participates in a rotating 24x7x365 on-call support schedule supporting mission-critical Operational Technology and security infrastructure. Candidates should be comfortable responding to after-hours incidents and working in a highly available production environment. May require extended onsite support during emergency operations (e.g. hurricane, ice storms, etc.)
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000-120,000 depending on experience.

The environments supported by this position are subject to North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards. As such, the successful candidate must demonstrate:
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to independently and consistently follow documented procedures without deviation.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to collect, organize, annotate, and maintain compliance evidence.
• An understanding of change management, access control, and configuration management principles.
Previous experience supporting NERC CIP-regulated environments is desirable; however, candidates with strong enterprise infrastructure experience and a willingness to learn the regulatory requirements will be considered.
