Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Production Supervisor for a top manufacturing client. This individual will lead daily production operations by supervising teams to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment. Day to day, the Production Supervisor will set and track production targets, analyze work orders, create labor and machine schedules, and adjust processes to meet changing demands. They will coach and develop employees, manage overtime and timekeeping, inspect parts for quality, assist operators with machine adjustments, and review production performance through daily reports and meetings. This role partners closely with Operations, Quality, and Leadership to drive continuous improvement, resolve production issues, implement process and equipment enhancements, and ensure operational excellence in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience supervising manufacturing or production teams
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and develop operators
Solid understanding of manufacturing operations (machining, assembly, fabrication, or automation)
Strong commitment to Safety, Quality, and On-Time Delivery
Experience analyzing work orders, labor hours, and production schedules
Hands-on experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Proficiency with productivity tools (spreadsheets, project management software, databases)
Ability to pass E-Verify and background check
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
Experience supporting new product introductions
Exposure to automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience collaborating with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams
Budgeting, cost management, or resource planning experience
Experience supporting customer visits or audits
