Insight Global is seeking a Traveling Engineering Technician willing to travel at least 50% of time to support a federal client of ours. Travel includes CONUS and OCONUS, with all expenses paid and per diem. This individual will be responsible for providing onsite electronics repair and maintenance of military vehicles. The day-to-day includes:
- Read and follow integration documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, drawings and diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation.
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading all Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and equipment on all tactical vehicles in the area assigned.
- May perform alternate equipment custodian duties as well as receiving Mission Support Equipment (MSE) shipments, conducting inventory, operational checks as well as tagging, packaging, storing and onward shipment of MSE.
