Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking a Gas Turbine Technician to join the team of one of their customers in Greer, SC. This role is responsible for performing hands-on assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on complex industrial equipment within a regulated, safety driven environment. The technician uses a wide range of tools, machines, fixtures, and gauges to execute work in accordance with company procedures, overhaul manuals, and OEM documentation.
The position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced production environment with multiple projects going at once. The technician should have the ability to follow and interpret technical documentation, including company processes, overhaul manuals, and OEM manuals. The technician supports continuous improvement initiatives, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates across teams to meet production, delivery, and customer quality objectives.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves
• 5+ years of hands on experience in assembly and MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) of industrial equipment or components
• Experience using machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and plant equipment
• Comfortable using basic computer tools (e.g., Word, Excel, or similar)
• Ability to pass an eye exam and meet visual acuity requirements for inspection tasks
• Ability to become a Qualified Technician within 6 months of hire
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses / Nice to Haves
• High school diploma or GED
• A&P license
• Experience working under ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems
• Experience with: Bills of material (BOMs), Source control documentation and technical drawings, and Manufacturing of industrial or aerospace products
• Previous experience in a MRO or FAR 145 repair station
• Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) processing experience
