Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Workforce Planning Manager to join their team. This is a remote role with standard 8am-5pm EST working hours (flexibility with time zone). Below is an overview of the responsibilities.

Overview:
Provide accountable ownership for meeting the engineering org headcount target inclusive of close collaboration with FP&A, HR and Finance on headcount target based on budget and operational needs. Own in-year target adjustments.
Lead capacity and demand modeling to guide/enable resource sharing and resource add discussions
Establish an operating cadence to strategically collaborate horizontally across engineering teams on headcount plans both in current and forthcoming. Set & agree to targets for each GPE team.
Set-up a contemporary process / standard work for review and approval of HC adds
Own, maintain daily management headcount dashboard
Analyze HC data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making
Support businesses processes, such as: headcount planning by quarter, total year, Long Range Forecast, Budget and Op planning
Establish and drive consistency of data sources for one source of truth & alignment with data
Prepare presentations, tailored to the audience that convey key messages / guidance
Own narratives on HC changes and clearly communicate at all levels of the organization
Support organizational simplification & build/execute plans for continuous improvement, productivity and automation
Effectively work cross functionally and lead teams to a common goal
Partner with Ops Leaders to develop strategies to optimize headcount allocation across the Engineering org

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
Proven experience leading cross-functionally
Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of an organization
Strong data analysis and ability to interpret results to solve problems and build strategy
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Passionate about continuous improvement and applying LEAN to improve productivity and existing processes
