Job Description

Responsibilities:
CNC Programming: Develop and validate CNC programs for various machining operations.
Simulation and Debugging: Perform CNC program simulations and debug issues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Machine Setup: Set up CNC machines, including selecting and installing appropriate tools and fixtures.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machine operations.
Process Development: Develop and test machining processes to optimize performance and quality.
First Piece Prove Out: Conduct first piece prove out to verify program accuracy and machine setup.
Technical Support: Provide technical support for CNC machine operations and programming.
Data Analysis: Analyze machining data to identify trends and provide insights for process improvements.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of CNC programming and setup processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with export control regulations and stay informed about changes in these regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

Skillset:
High School diploma (preferred: 4-year degree in engineering or 2-year technical degree in machining).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in NX CNC Programming (3+1 axis).
Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls.
Working knowledge of Vericut.
On-machine setup experience.
Knowledge of Renishaw probing macros.
Prefer experience machining heat-resistant super alloys and power generation or aerospace experience.
Macro variable programming knowledge.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passionate about continuous improvement and applying LEAN principles.
