Job Description

Responsibilities:
CMM Programming: Create, validate, and optimize CMM programs to ensure accurate measurements.
Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CMM equipment, including selecting and installing appropriate probes and fixtures.
Model Manipulation: Use NX CAD software to manipulate and modify 3D models for CMM programming.
Inspection and Measurement: Conduct measurements and inspections using CMM, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CMM equipment to ensure smooth operation.
Data Analysis: Analyze measurement data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of CMM programming and setup processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with design and engineering teams to resolve discrepancies in models and measurements.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with export control regulations and stay informed about changes in these regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

Skillset and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
High School diploma (preferred: 4-year degree in engineering, mathematics, or computer science, or a 2-year technical degree).
Proficiency in PC-DMIS.
Knowledge of ASME Y14.5M-2009.
Experience with programming languages such as VBA, Python, or C++ is a plus.
