Job Description

Insight Global's engineering client seeks a remote Physical Substation Scoper based in North Carolina (or South Carolina), with bi-weekly travel for site visits. The primary responsibility is to create scoping documentation from site visits and prepare supporting drawings. Additional responsibilities include design check support for project deliverables and attending substation design site visits. Design tasks will include physical substation deliverables including general arrangements, control house layouts, grounding layouts, conduit/cable schedules, elevations/sections, and bill of materials all using AutoCad.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience within physical substation engineering

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- EIT or PE License
