A client in the Columbia, SC area is looking to hire a Process Engineer for one of its manufacutring facilities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and quality of the polymerization processes.
They will look at efficiency in run time and machine modification, handle predictive maintenance (ie. emergency leak), ensure operating procedures are in line with specs and rewrite procedures as necessary. It is crucial that this individual communicate heavily with the facility and leadership. They must take take initiative and consider any possible implications behind process changes. They will work with the operators/production to see how they align with other departments from a safety, quality, etc. standpoint. They will be expected report the results back to leadership on a weekly, quarterly basis.

Manufacturing background, specifically using polymerization processes
Experience with Delta V
Ability to read temperatures, pressures, understand how controls work
Ability to read P&IDs, understand thermodynamics
Experience with steam jets, condensers, vacuum sets
