Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient vascular surgery clinic. The LPN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and supporting the overall operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with pre- and post-operative care.
Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during vascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper equipment handling.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about vascular conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Coordination: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Compliance: Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Licensure: Current LPN license in [Insert State].
Experience: Previous experience in a surgical or outpatient clinic setting preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications: BLS/CPR certification required.
