Job Description

he Program Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of a large-scale, multi-year commercial program that spans multiple business units, stakeholders, and geographic locations. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in program management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional execution. The Program Manager will oversee all phases of the program lifecyclefrom initiation and planning through execution, transition to business, and benefits realizationwhile ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, commercial strategies, and governance standards.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and leadership capability, and is skilled at navigating complexity, driving accountability, and fostering a high-performance culture across diverse teams and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Execution
Define and manage the overall program roadmap, integrated workplans, and key milestones across multiple projects.
Drive program governance and performance management frameworks to monitor progress, escalate issues, and ensure accountability.
Ensure alignment between program goals and broader commercial strategy.
Stakeholder & Governance Management
Lead engagement with executive sponsors, steering committees, and senior leaders to provide transparency, influence decisions, and secure alignment.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across business units, functional teams, vendors, and other external partners.
Risk, Financial & Change Management
Proactively identify and manage program risks, interdependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Lead financial oversight including budget management, forecasting
Champion change management and business readiness activities to support successful transition and adoption.
Team Leadership & Resource Planning
Build and lead a high-performing program team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and vendor/partner management.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of progressive experience in program or project management, including 5+ years managing complex, enterprise-level programs.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale commercial or strategic transformation programs.
Strong understanding of business operations, commercial models, and cross-functional delivery in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, risk management, change adoption, and governance.
Proficient in program management tools, project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
