Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Junior Procurement Analyst for a 6 month contract in Saskatoon. A successful candidate will join an internal, multidisciplinary procurement team supporting indirect spend across multiple retail projects. This is a hands‑on, analytical role focused on data analysis, variance analysis, reporting, and problem solving rather than traditional procurement execution.
This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or someone interested in working in procurement, who is highly analytical, self‑motivated, and comfortable figuring things out in a fast‑paced environment where processes are not always documented. Prior procurement experience is not required—you will be coached and supported by senior team members.

Required Skills & Experience
• Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, or equivalent
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Hands‑on experience with Excel (running spreadsheets, variance analysis, data validation, reporting)
• Experience or demonstrated capability in data analysis
• Ability to work independently in unscripted and undocumented processes
• Strong problem‑solving mentality with a go‑getter, self‑starter attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment
• Ability to support multiple internal retail projects simultaneously
Willingness to learn procurement concepts on the job
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience using Power BI.
• Previous experience working within a procurement function.
• Exposure to reporting, variance analysis, or financial modeling
• Internship or co‑op experience in analytics, operations, finance, or supply chain
Familiarity with indirect spend or internal support functions (not required)
