Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Scientist for a 6 month contract with a high possibility of extensions. A successful candidate must be located in Saskatoon and available to work on-site 5 days a week. This individual will contribute to the development, deployment, and sustainment of robust and precise optical tracker and sensor fusion solutions. This role will focus on integrating data with RGB cameras, Lidar, and Radar, with the goal to drive operational efficiencies and intelligent automation in mining and industrial environments.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Control Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
Proven hands-on experience in computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning applications.
Strong programming skills (Python, C++, or similar) and familiarity with data processing pipelines for multi-sensor environments.
Experience working in industrial or mining settings is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
