This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality financial services to their client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns
Compile year-end financial statements in accordance with compilation engagement standards (no review or audit work)
Perform adjusting journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial records
Support bookkeeping functions as needed (bookkeepers are on-site for day-to-day tasks)
Conduct full year-end compilation engagements for a variety of clients
Liaise with clients to gather financial information and provide guidance on tax and financial matters
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws and accounting standards
