Insight Global is sourcing for an RPG Synon Developer to join a leading health solutions company, that provides healthcare and retail pharmacy services. This position will be critical, assisting in a legacy system upgrade, working to condense two dispensing systems down to one. Key responsibilities include, enhancing legacy systems and integrating them with modern technologies. Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPGLE, CL, and Synon/2E, document system flows, logic, and technical specifications, and perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. This position will be a contract role, remote in India, working 12:00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST, Monday through Friday.
Pay-rate: $10-17/hour USD. Exact pay rate will depend on experience and other factors.

-At least 4 years of experience in AS/400 RPG development.
-Strong proficiency in RPGLE, CL/400, and Synon/2E.
-Experience with DB2/400 and SQL.
-Familiarity with insurance or healthcare IT systems (e.g., RxCLAIM).
-Knowledge of architecture methods like SOA and IAA.
-Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with Agile development and version control tools.
