Job Description
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support and enhance a critical healthcare application hosted within on-premises environment. This individual will play a key role in modernizing existing systems, supporting large-scale underwriting operations, and delivering scalable solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong experience in the Microsoft technology stack, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while partnering closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements, upgrades, and performance improvements.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Proactively identify system improvements and recommend innovative solutions that drive business value.
• Support and enhance applications that enable large-scale underwriting and healthcare insurance operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution in a complex on-premises environment.
• Participate in application modernization efforts while ensuring stability and performance of existing systems.
• Role requires close collaboration with offshore development teams, including facilitating technical discussions, leading team calls, coordinating delivery activities, providing architectural guidance, and ensuring development efforts align with business objective
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience developing applications within ASP.NET core
• Strong hands-on experience with:
o C#
o SQL Server
o JavaScript
• Experience developing and supporting applications in on-premises environments.
• Developing web applications using MVC architecture and/or Razor-based frameworks
• Knows how Partnering directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify ambiguities, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in healthcare insurance IT environments
Background supporting underwriting or large enterprise applications
Experience modernizing or enhancing legacy systems
