Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Quality Engineer to join our Medicaid Healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare IT systems, focusing on Medicaid-related projects. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes for Medicaid healthcare IT.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and improve existing systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation systems to ensure smooth deployment and operation.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to teams on automation-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
- Continuously monitor and improve automation systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Train staff on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering or software development, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid healthcare IT systems and processes (X12, 837, 277CA etc.)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible).
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Integrate automated solutions with existing IT infrastructure, including QNXT and other healthcare applications.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Implement synthetic transactional monitoring and automated alerting to ensure system stability and resiliency.
- Familiarity with Medicaid claims processing and management.
- Experience with data analytics and pattern identification.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) tools and technologies.
- Implement robotic process automation (RPA) tools and technologies to streamline Medicaid claims processing and management.
