Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner to support the Network & Provider organization and help lead a single value stream. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to translate product capabilities into clear, actionable work for delivery teams. You will be responsible for writing user stories, managing and documenting work in Jira, and ensuring delivery teams have the clarity needed to execute within an Agile SDLC.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and refine the backlog for an assigned value stream by translating features and requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead and support Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, demos, retros) to drive continuous delivery.
• Partner daily with engineering teams to clarify requirements, answer questions, and remove blockers.
• Document requirements, decisions, and progress within Jira
• Work within an established SDLC and ensure stories meet “definition of ready/done” standards.
• Collaborate with product management, business stakeholders, and technical teams to prioritize work that delivers measurable value.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product supporting software delivery teams within a healthcare insurance setting
o Preferred in provider experience
• Strong experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs in Jira
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Technical fluency with APIs (ability to discuss integrations, and requirements with engineering).
• Comfort working cross-functionally between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with modernization efforts (e.g., mainframe-to-cloud, microservices).
• Familiarity with data/integration tooling or concepts (e.g., SQL, Kafka, MQ—helpful but not required).
• Product Owner / Product Management certifications (CSPO, SAFe POPM, etc.)
