Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lead QA to sit fully remote for a 12-month contract. This team is supporting the acceleration of the financial platform that supports claims adjudication. Below are what the responsibilities of this lead will consist of:
• Collaborating closely with our quality analysts to develop comprehensive test documentation and facilitating reviews of the same with relevant stakeholders.
• Developing robust test strategies and schedules. This will involve planning and coordinating testing activities to ensure timely and effective test execution.
• Able to handle multiple test projects at any given time.
• Leading and facilitating triage meetings with IT and business teams to provide test status updates, discuss any issues or defects, and review test results.
• Creating and presenting test metrics to the leadership team which can help in making informed decisions.
• Coordinating with multiple application teams to establish test schedules, manage dependencies and identifying the necessary data required for testing.
• Managing defects and prioritizing tests. It will involve overseeing the defect lifecycle, ensuring that defects are tracked down, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Overall QA ownership for regression, performance testing and end-to-end.
• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation approaches to minimize impact on our projects.
• Identifying opportunities for automation and test optimization to drive efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of IT experience with Quality engineering focus
• 5+ years of experience leading quality assurance teams for large programs
• 3+ years of working on healthcare with focus on Health Claims processing
• 3+ years of experience with new QA technology and frameworks including QA test automation using like Selenium, Java, GitHub
• 3+ years’ experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as RTC, RQM, or Jira/ Rally
• Experience with working teams spread across multiple locations and ability to mentor them
