Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Release Manager to sit remotely for one of our largest healthcare clients. This person will be responsible for overall release management activities for a critical clinical application, strategies, and/or alternatives to meet business needs. They will be accountable for managing the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of projects. This person should be able to support and lead projects by creating project plans/timelines, identifying key milestones, and supporting/working with other members within the underwriting organization. They will also be responsible for creating release execution, installation and implementation plans as well as creating release validations and checkout plans. This person should have strong communication skills and attention to detail as they will be working closely with multiple trains, business groups, stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful execution of release plans and will provide final release signoff and follow-up post release on fallouts. Lastly, they may also identify gaps and recommend enhancements to the release management process and application deployment plans as well as solicit internal feedback to improve outcome of project initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7+ years of leadership experience within as a Release Manager

Previous experience overseeing an application release

Previous experience supporting a cloud migration

Ability to create release execution, installation and implementation plans

Experience collaboratively working with cross functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, Teams and SharePoint

Experience working within the Healthcare/Clinical domain
