We are seeking a seasoned Senior Python Developer to join our team in supporting IRIS, an AI-powered knowledge assistant designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of customer service representatives. In this role, youll work hands-on with a robust Python codebase, contributing to the development and optimization of a platform that supports over 10,000 users. Your day-to-day will involve writing production-grade Python code, integrating with tools like BigQuery and vector stores, and collaborating with a team focused on delivering a seamless AI-driven customer experience. Youll be responsible for maintaining and improving backend services, working within a GCP environment, and applying GenAI and LLM technologies to real-world challenges. While this role does not involve architectural design, it demands strong coding skills, attention to performance, and a commitment to quality through code reviews, agile practices, and development metrics.

710+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Python and solid CS fundamentals
Experience working with production systems at scale
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Hands-on experience with BigQuery and vector databases
Exposure to large language models (LLMs) and GenAI applications
Strong coding and debugging skills
