Our client is executing a critical enterprise-wide initiative to enhance browser security and reduce vulnerabilities caused by unmanaged browser extensions. With over 4,000 Chrome extensions in use across the organization, this role will support the Browser Security Engineering team by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to guide policy enforcement and extension management.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Review and analyze data exports from the Google Admin Console related to Chrome extension usage.
Clean, structure, and interpret large datasets using Excel and other analytical tools.
Identify trends, anomalies, and usage patterns to support risk assessments and business impact evaluations.
Stakeholder Communication:
Engage with end users to understand the business justification behind installed browser extensions.
Document and categorize extension use cases to support decision-making.
Present findings in a clear, actionable format to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Consultation & Policy Support:
Collaborate closely with the Browser Engineering team to recommend extensions for removal based on data insights and business context.
Provide input to help shape new browser security policies and extension control strategies.
Support change management efforts by contributing to user communication plans and feedback loops.
Compensation:
$10/hr to $20/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
Experience working with data exports from the Google Admin Console or similar enterprise tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, especially in gathering and documenting user feedback.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and end users.
Familiarity with browser security concepts and enterprise IT environments.
Experience supporting cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects.
Background in user research, business analysis, or stakeholder engagement.
