Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a remote senior INTL (India) AI/ML Engineer to join a Fortune 10 retail pharmacy client. This person will be joining the team responsible for supporting the organizations retail shopping applications. This AI/ML team will be using customer data to increase sales and elevate customer pain points during their shopping/check out experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models, including model training, optimization, and productionization
-Develop high performance backend services and microservices using Spring Boot and Python
-Architect scalable data pipelines and integrate systems using BigQuery, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
-Implement best practices for model monitoring, MLOps, CI/CD, observability, and logging
-Optimize queries, database structures, and data access performance for large scale data systems
-Stay current on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices
Compensation:
$12/hr to $16/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year working as an AI/ML Engineer
-Strong hands-on coding skills in Python and Java (Spring Boot)
-Strong experience with databases: BigQuery, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
-Experience building scalable microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
-Strong understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, ETL, and cloud-native architectures
-Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-GCP experience
